Merge PDFs

Combine multiple files into a single document

How to merge PDFs, step by step

  1. 1

    Upload the files

Drag all the PDFs into the area above at once, or click and select several. Nothing to install, and no account needed for small files.

  2. 2

    Check the order

Each file shows up numbered, with a thumbnail of its cover. If the order isn't right, drag the cards or use the arrows to rearrange before continuing.

  3. 3

    Download the merged PDF

Click Merge PDF and the download starts on its own, with every file combined in the order shown on screen, one after another.

Numbered files come out in the right order automatically

If you have a document saved in parts — common when Windows names copies as "contract.pdf", "contract (1).pdf", "contract (2).pdf" — the tool sorts everything out before you even look: the file with no number comes first, and the rest follow in numeric order (2 before 10, not alphabetical). You don't need to drag anything by hand to rebuild a document split into 10 or 20 parts; just confirm it looks right and click merge.

When merging PDFs solves the problem

  • A document scanned in several sessions, each page or group of pages saved as a separate file.
  • A contract or proposal with attachments that arrived in different emails and need to become one PDF to send.
  • Receipts or invoices for the month that need to go together in an expense report.
  • Chapters or sections of a report written by different people, each in their own file.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge several PDFs into one?

Upload every file at once into the upload area, check the order in the thumbnails (drag to rearrange if needed) and click Merge PDF. The result comes out as a single file, with each PDF's pages in the sequence shown on screen.

Can I change the file order before merging?

Yes. Each file shows up as a numbered card with a thumbnail cover — drag a card to a new spot, or use the arrows beside each one to move it one position at a time.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There's no limit on the number of files, only on the total combined size — while the promotion lasts, up to 1 MB runs free without login; above that you need an account and PRO or a one-time payment.

Does the order of similarly-named files come out right on its own?

Yes — if the files came from copies of the same document ("name.pdf", "name (1).pdf", "name (2).pdf"...), the tool already detects the pattern and sorts them numerically before building the final PDF, even if the browser handed them over out of order.

Does the merged PDF lose quality or formatting?

No. Each page is copied exactly as it is in the original file — text, images and formatting stay identical, only the final document's page numbering changes to reflect the new order.

Are the uploaded files kept on the server?

No. Each file is processed in an isolated temporary folder and deleted as soon as the final PDF is generated. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
